Abstract

The teaching of orality constitutes one of the greatest challenges facing the subjetct of Portuguese language in the current context. The central importance of skills related to knowing how to listen and knowing how to speak is recognized by the Profile of Students Leaving Compulsory Schooling, a document that gives them a centrality compatible with the relevance they assume for the full exercise of citizenship and professional and personal.
