Abstract

Digital technologies play a fundamental role in mediating human experience and building relationships with the world, including in educational contexts. Currently, these technologies are deeply integrated into citizens' daily lives, configuring new forms of interaction, communication and access to knowledge. In this sense, schools face the continuous challenge of integrating, in a critical and pedagogical way, technological resources into teaching and learning processes, promoting more meaningful educational practices aligned with the demands of contemporary society.

This article falls within the scope of teaching/learning of Portuguese in Primary Education and focuses on the process of conception, development, implementation and evaluation of the digital educational resource Leopoldino, o explorador, designed with the aim of developing the writing skills of descriptive sequences of 4th grade students.
