Aprendizagem indutiva da gramática: um caminho para aumentar a atenção em contexto sala de aula
Abstract
Grammar plays an important role in the teaching of native language. Nevertheless, it is one of the domains which gathers a lesser interest among students, an occurrence perhaps primarily explained do to the use of a traditional method on its approach. Consequently, this situation leads to a lack of attention during the explanatory phase of the disciplinary contents which, in turn, partially contributes to a lower level of educational attainment.
Therefore, having established the value of attention in an educational context, it becomes clear the necessity of putting into practice teaching strategies capable of enhancing the students’ concentration such as inductive learning.
Taking into consideration that the inductive method presupposes that the student assumes an active role in the construction of its knowledge, the purpose of this report lays on attempting to demonstrate of how the use of said method will increase the attention levels during grammar teaching and, as a consequence, it might, represent a more suitable approach.
