Opinion text: Reflections on procedural writing in portuguese class
Abstract
Based on a Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) work in the Portuguese discipline, developed in the academic year 2018/2019, this article reflects on teaching the writing of the opinion text as a school genre, giving special attention to the procedural dimension. After the genre has been succinctly characterized, a didactic model is presented with the teachable dimensions of the genre (destined for the 9th and 11th classes), as well as the various didactic pathways developed in PES, focusing on the activities that most contributed to overcoming the difficulties identified in the students' textual productions (especially regarding the compositional / textual component), thus facilitating the appropriation of this school genre.
