A aplicação do laboratório gramatical em sala de aula com recurso à gravação áudio: resultados de uma análise de dados
Abstract
This essay shortly provides an action research project taken upon the pedagogic training period, held for the conclusion of the studies which grant the master’s degree in Portuguese teaching to primary and high school students, granted by Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto.
The classroom whose job is to teach the mother tongue contemplates the work dedicated to a series of communicative and linguistic skills of Portuguese. We found some difficulties as regards the grammatical skills of the students engaged in the project, built a plan of action regarding said difficulties, with the goal of promoting a metalinguistic reflection, as well as underlining the importance of grammatical knowledge as an independent component and as an articulate competence articulated with the literary reading, this study proposes the use of the grammar laboratory.
The application of this method engages part of the student’s intuitive knowledge and transforms those intuitions into explicit grammatical knowledge. With students from high school, these grammar laboratories function as the bridge between the language’s explicit knowledge and literary reading. This project intends to corroborate the paramount importance of the investment in the teaching of grammar, providing the results of a plan of action which prioritises a reflexive teaching of grammar.
